Antoine Dupont
Stade Toulousain scrum-half, France captain and rugby sevens Olympic gold medallist at Paris 2024
About Antoine Dupont
A scrum-half's game is decision-making at speed: read the ruck, pick the option, then execute it cleanly a hundred times a match. I grew up on a farm in the Aveyron, which set the work rate, and Toulouse sharpened everything else. Switching codes to sevens for Paris 2024 stripped my game back to fundamentals and made me better for it. Captaining France and building a team culture are the subjects I find most worth discussing.
