About Apichatpong Weerasethakul
Time with me is slow and mostly outdoors. I do not do quick appearances; what I can offer is a long walk around Chiang Mai, a conversation about memory, sleep and the jungle, or a working day on location with people making their own films. My work moves between cinema and installation, and both come from the same habit of watching one thing for a very long time.
