About Kyary Pamyu Pamyu
I began as a teenager posting street style in Harajuku, reading fashion magazines and copying none of them exactly. Music arrived after modelling, and the songs came with a whole visual world attached: sets, costumes and choreography built to be strange and precise at the same time. Touring carried that world to audiences who did not share my language and understood it anyway. I speak about performance, image-making and working between fashion and pop.
