Cabaret rooms, small theatres, concert halls, festival bills at home and further afield: I have sung in most of them, over a long career of records and live work. A song, for me, is something to be acted as much as sung. I am happy to meet people around a show, sign records, and speak about interpretation, repertoire and what keeps a voice working across decades.
