When we meet in Santo Domingo I like it to feel like home — no distance, plenty of questions, photos with the family included. I run the 400 metres, which is the hardest and most honest race there is, and I came to it from a small town with very little. In Spanish I can go deeper: training, faith, and what an Olympic title changed and what it did not.
