Nancy Wilson
Heart's guitarist and co-writer, known for acoustic-into-electric arrangements and composing music for feature film.
About Nancy Wilson
I picked up an acoustic guitar as a kid in the Pacific Northwest and never really put it down, learning folk fingerpicking before I learned to plug in. Heart gave me a place to put both, the acoustic opening and the riff that follows. Later I started writing for film, which taught me to serve a scene instead of a chorus. I am still happiest working out an arrangement from the strings up.
