About Stig Blomqvist
I began in Swedish forests, on snow and gravel, in cars that either taught you throttle control or put you in a snowbank. That apprenticeship carried me through a long international career and the world title in 1984. What has not changed is the pleasure of a good stage road and a car set up properly. I still drive, still test, and I like explaining how the machinery of that era was really handled.
