About Warwick Thornton
Samson & Delilah was made in and around Alice Springs and carried me to Cannes, where it won the Camera d'Or; more recently I wrote, directed and shot The New Boy. I operate my own camera on most things, which means story and light arrive in the same thought. Country matters to how I work — where we shoot, and who we shoot with. I'd rather give you a day on location or a workshop than a quick call.
