About Willy Puchner
Airport terminals, desert roads, city squares, a kitchen table at home in Lower Austria where the notebooks get filled in — most of my working life has moved between the two. I have carried cameras, pencils and, for one long series, two penguin figures around the world, photographing them in front of the places everyone photographs. I like slow projects, patient looking, and explaining to others how a series is held together over years.
